Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using The Pearly Therapy website ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Site.

Website Use

Informational Purposes

The content on this Site is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information should not be used as a substitute for professional mental health care.

No Therapist-Client Relationship

Using this website, submitting a contact form, or requesting an appointment does not establish a therapist-client relationship. A therapeutic relationship is only established after a mutual agreement to work together, completion of intake paperwork, and the first scheduled session.

Therapy Services

Licensing

Jessica Cruz is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #147174) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC #15650) in the State of California. Services are only provided to clients located in California.

Appointments

By scheduling an appointment, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule
• Pay applicable fees for late cancellations or no-shows
• Be present and engaged during scheduled sessions

Telehealth Services

We offer telehealth services to clients located in California. By using telehealth services, you acknowledge the limitations of remote therapy and agree to maintain a private, safe space during sessions.

Payment and Insurance

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. We accept various insurance plans; however, you are responsible for:

• Verifying your insurance coverage and benefits
• Any copays, deductibles, or non-covered services
• Full payment if insurance claims are denied

Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and California law. Exceptions to confidentiality include:

• Imminent danger to self or others
• Suspected child, elder, or dependent adult abuse
• Court orders or legal requirements
• Your written authorization to release information

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of The Pearly Therapy and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Emergency Situations

This website is not intended for emergency situations. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
