Healing Through Play
A child-centered approach that uses play to help children express emotions, process experiences, and develop healthy coping skills.

A Safe Space for Expression
Play therapy provides children with a safe, supportive space to express emotions, process experiences, and build secure attachment through play. Children often communicate feelings through behavior rather than words. Play therapy honors this natural language, allowing children to explore emotions, relationships, and challenges in ways that feel developmentally appropriate and safe.
Children may experience big emotions they do not yet have the words to describe—such as fear, sadness, anger, or confusion. Changes in behavior, mood, or relationships can be signs that a child is struggling internally. Play therapy creates space for children to process these experiences while strengthening emotional regulation, self-expression, and resilience.
Play therapy is available in San Diego and includes parent consultation, with telehealth options for families across California.
If your child's challenges are connected to broader family dynamics, family therapy may also be beneficial.

Family and caregivers are an essential part of this process. I work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to support attachment, strengthen understanding, and help translate insights from the therapy room into everyday life.
Play therapy is not about "fixing" a child—it is about creating the conditions for emotional growth and security.
